solely owned by ASMPT Limited (“ASMPT”)
and protected under the Disclaimer
of Warranties and Liabilities .
By downloading and using ASMPT Mobile Apps, you agree to abide by the Privacy Policy & Terms of Use.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Liabilities:
ASMPT does not Guarantee, Represent or Warrant
that the use of ASMPT Apps will be uninterrupted or error-free, and ASMPT
reserves the right to perform maintenance with ample notice and may from time
to time publish new software version updates.
You agree that your submission of Authentication
Information is at your sole risk, and ASMPT hereby disclaims any and all liability to you
for any loss of liability relating to such information in any way.
ASMPT does not guarantee that the ASMPT Apps
will be free from Loss or Corruption of Data, Attack, Viruses, Interference,
Hacking, or other Security Intrusion.
ASMPT reserves the right to remove or refuse to
process any information or content, to warn you, to suspend or terminate your
access to ASMPT Apps, or take any other action as part of its investigation of
a suspected violation or as a result of its
finding that a violation of this agreement has occurred.
Privacy Policy:
This "Privacy Policy" describes how
ASMPT collects, processes and protects your
authentication information. ASMPT's Privacy Policy applies to all Services
provided by ASMPT.
Collection of Authentication Information
ASMPT Apps is only accessible if you register a
user account with us by completing and submitting the information required for
the registration process. For this purpose ASMPT
Apps may request you to provide us or automatically capture your device
information (e.g. Device
ID, Mac Address, Device Brand, OS, Web Brower, ASMPT user account, badge
number, phone number etc.) to satisfy
the Authentication requirements to offer
our services to you. Such information we collect from you or your device will
be used to verify your identity.
How we use your Authentication Information?
We use your Authentication Information where
appropriate to provide our services to you and generally to fulfill our
intended obligations towards you.
Sharing of your Authentication Information
We will not share or disclose your
Authentication Information to any third party without your consent, except (a)
where this is necessary in order to provide our services to you, (b) to pursue
our legitimate interests, (c) if we are required to disclose your Authentication
Information in order to comply with any legal obligation or the decision of a
judicial authority or (d) where we are otherwise permitted to do so by
applicable laws. We will never share your Authentication Information with third
parties if this is not permissible under the applicable laws. You acknowledge
that any authentication Information that you submit to our services which is
typically visible to others (e.g. blogs,
forums and discussion pages) may result in such information being published and
being visible to others.
Location-based services
Our services may make use of and/or require you
to provide us with location-based data ("Location-Based Services").
The Location-Based Services are offered by collecting, storing, transmitting or processing
location data of your device. ASMPT will only process any location-based data
when you consent to such use, typically when you register for the respective
Location-Based Service. Location-based data is generally anonymous and does not
personally identify you. However, the information gathered by locating your
device may be combined with your Authentication Information in order for us to provide you
with the types of applications, from time to time, which requires
Location-Based Services.
Terms of Use:
As a registered user of ASMPT Apps, you have
established an “Account”. You agree to strictly adhere to the use and handling
requirements stated.
Your Account
Do not reveal your Account information to anyone
else. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and
security of your Account and for all activities that occur on or through your
Account, and you agree to immediately notify ASMPT of any breach of your
Account to avoid any losses caused to ASMPT.
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights contained in
any content of the ASMPT Mobile Apps (including text, graphics, software,
photographs and other images, videos, sound, trademarks and logos) are owned solely by ASMPT.
As a registered user, at any time, you do not have any rights to disclose,
divulge, or reveal to any person, firm or
company, any of the trade secrets or confidential information of ASMPT.
You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan,
sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the ASMPT Apps and their
information in any manner, and you shall not exploit the applications in any
unauthorized way whatsoever, including, but not limited to, by trespass or
burdening network capacity.
Handling and Use Policy of Device and
Applications
a. Authentication Information Update
It is your responsibility to inform ASMPT on any
changes to your Authentication Information. The ASMPT Mobile Applications will
provide reasonable options, channels or
instructions for you to perform and/ or inform updates.
b. Device Handling
It is your responsibility to update ASMPT before
you change ownership of your device and to de-register your account with ASMPT
Apps. You should perform a delete of all ASMPT Mobile Applications stored in
the mobile device before changing ownership and ensure any information within
is deleted or device “Restore to Factory Default”.
In the event of theft/ accidental loss, you
should immediately inform ASMPT to disable your account. A police report shall
be required if device is suspected to be stolen and abused, especially when
sensitive ASMPT Mobile applications are installed and suspected to be still
accessing information online.
